Sodium Etching is a process surface treatment to Teflon ® and PTFE to allow for adhering to another surface. Fluoropolymers such as Teflon ® or PTFE exhibit excellent lubricating characteristics. These non-stick properties often reduces bonding ability of the material, however, etching alters the surface properties of the polymer allowing it to be bonded.

Available in etched one side and etched two sides.

EPOXY KITS

Armstrong A-12 Two-Part Epoxy Kits. Used for bonding Teflon ® and PTFE tape and sheet to most surfaces. Instructions for bonding included in kit.
